3rd National Competition "Young Promises" 2023 - in-person and online mode
Section 0
NON-musical secondary school groups
0.1 – body percussion group
0.2 – recorder group
0.3 – keyboard group
0.4 - mixed group of instruments or instruments and voices
0.5 - school choir of children's voices
Categories and execution times
A: first class, free program of maximum 5 minutes
B: second class, free program of maximum 7 minutes
C: third grade, free program of maximum 10 minutes
Participation is exclusively in person. The organization provides candidates with a computer and an amplification system if the piece requires the use of recorded bases (it is requested to bring the base on a USB stick on the day of the performance) or an accompanying pianist if necessary (at an additional cost, see art. 6 of the announcement); alternatively, candidates are free to show up with their own pianist.

soloists middle schools with a musical focus (SMIM)
1.1 – Piano soloists
1.2 – String soloists
1.3 – Guitar soloists
1.4 – Harp and accordion soloists
1.5 – Wind instrument soloists: woodwinds
1.6 – Wind instrument soloists: brass
1.7 – Percussion soloists
Categories and execution times
A: first class, free program of maximum 5 minutes
B: second class, free program of maximum 7 minutes
C: third grade, free program of maximum 10 minutes
Participation can take place in person or online . A complete performance of accompaniment is mandatory (if required for the piece presented), under penalty of exclusion. Section 2
ensemble music for middle schools with a musical focus (SMIM)
Categories and execution times
A: first class, free program of maximum 5 minutes
B: second class, free program of maximum 7 minutes
C: third grade, free program of maximum 10 minutes
In the case of mixed formations (members belonging to different classes) registration must be made for the category relating to the oldest member.
Example: trio formed by two members of the first class and one member of the second class → registration for category B second class.
Participation can take place in person or online.
Section 3
soloists
This section is open to all soloists up to 25 years of age who are pursuing a course of musical studies at academies, music schools, conservatories, music high schools and private lessons.
3.1 – Piano soloists

Categories and execution times
A: Participants up to 10 years old (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 6 minutes
B: participants from 11 years old to 15 years old (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 10 minutes
C: participants from 16 to 19 years old (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 15 minutes
D. participants from 20 years old up to 25 years old (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 20 minutes
Participation can take place in person or online . A complete performance of accompaniment (if required for the piece presented) is mandatory, under penalty of exclusion. Section 4
chamber music and piano four hands
Individual members participating in this section must not exceed 30 years of age (at the expiration date of membership).
Categories and execution times
A: members up to 19 years of age (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 10 minutes
B: members aged between 20 and 30 (on the registration deadline). Free program of maximum 15 minutes
In the case of mixed formations, registration must be made for the category of the oldest member. Example: trio formed by two 18-year-old members and one 20-year-old member → registration for category B.
Participation can take place in person or online.
